Dental Implants

Dental implants serve as long-term, often discreet fixtures to replace missing teeth.

They are designed so that they match your surrounding dental environment, meaning that they are not visible.

01

Instant Teeth

In many instances it is possible to remove a tooth and place an implant immediately into the extraction socket (an ‘instant implant’). This is often the case near the front of the mouth, and the procedure can be applied to a single tooth or multiple teeth being replaced all at once.

02

Same Day Smiles

Same day smile can be used to replace a single tooth, multiple teeth, or to anchor a complete set with denture stabilisation.

The treatment is simple, fast and there is no need to wear a temporary denture.

03

Gum Disease

Periodontal (gum) disease is caused by bacteria in plaque. If allowed to stay on the teeth, plaque can cause your gums to become red and swollen. This is called gingivitis. In some cases, the disease will progress to a more severe form of gum disease known as periodontitis.

04

Implant Retained Dentures

The dentures work in exactly the same way, They are removable to aid cleaning and are clipped onto the implants when you’re done. Implant retained dentures can make a loose denture extremely secure.

05

Failed Implant Treatment

A failed dental implant is easily removed with local anesthesia. If an implant needs to be replaced, they will take it out and gently clean the area. If the bone is intact around the area of the removed implant, no bone graft will be necessary.

06

Sinus & Gum Grafting

Gum grafting involves carefully placing a small amount of new tissue in an area where little or no gum tissue currently exists — typically recommended to prevent further gum recession or to cover root surfaces of your teeth that have become exposed.

07

Wisdom Tooth Removal

Having your wisdom teeth removed is one of the most common procedures done in the UK. It’s usually done in your late teens or twenties, when your wisdom teeth come through.

08

Dental Implant Process

01

Consultation.

The planning process for receiving dental implants begins with an initial office consultation. During this phase, you will have the opportunity to talk over your desired outcomes. Other discussion points will be:

- A breakdown of the general timeline and individual phases in the process.
- An overview of the estimated costs for treatment.
- An opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the treatment process.

We understand that this is a new experience for you and want to be your partner along the way.

02

diagnosis and treatment strategy.

During this visit, you will receive a thorough evaluation to determine the best course of action to suit your particular needs, including:

- A complete dental exam to determine your candidacy for dental implants.
- You will have dental x-rays taken along with a CBCT scan, and 3D scan of your current teeth which will be used to design your implant plan.
- Your provider will discuss the procedure, plan of action, and pricing.

This is the step where you will decide whether you wish to continue in the process and sign the treatment plan.

03

Placing the implants.

In this phase, the treatment plan begins with a straightforward procedure that is usually completed using a local anaesthetic and involves:

The area is checked to determine that it is completely numb. The dentist will raise some of your gum tissue and set the implant in the predetermined location. Sutures are used to close the gum tissue.
A two-week follow-up appointment is scheduled to assess the healing process and provide maintenance.
After the implant has completely healed, crown planning begins. Temporary teeth are used to fill the implant spaces while awaiting your permanent teeth.

04

Fitting your permanent or replacement teeth.

In the final phase of your treatment plan, you may wait between four and eight months for your new implant to completely adhere to your jawbone. When this is complete, the permanent replacement tooth or teeth will be fitted, which will include:

- Adding the abutment or small post that is affixed to the top of the implant provides support for the false tooth.
- Placement of the bespoke crowns that will match your teeth. When your fitting is complete, you will still have services and support from our office.

We will provide you with effective aftercare to ensure you receive any assistance or education you may need along with follow-up appointments at predetermined intervals.
